The “Systemic Oppression Reverse Victim & Offender” (SORVO) is a framework that identifies how sexual violence, and accusations thereof, are weaponized to justify oppression. It examines the power dynamics where perpetrators manipulate narratives to shift blame onto the victims. By exposing these patterns, SORVO seeks to dismantle the misuse of authority that perpetuates cycles of abuse and marginalization.
Since our start in 2021, the Sexual Violence Prevention Association (SVPA) has been dedicated to preventing sexual violence systemically. Our advocacy, resources, and institutional actions have had broad impact across the country. Check out our impact report to learn more!
