would pass Erin’s Law in the state of Hawaii, an educational program in public schools aiming to prevent sexual abuse and sex trafficking. It would also implement training for teachers and school staff, and a task force to review the policies, programs, and curricula in public schools. At the conclusion of the task force, the Department of Education would be required to implement a systemwide sexual abuse prevention education program.
