Existing law permits the Office of Emergency Services to advance up to 25% of a grant award to a domestic violence shelter service provider pursuant to the Comprehensive Statewide Domestic Violence Program.This bill would instead require the Office of Emergency Services to provide the full amount of a grant award to a domestic violence shelter service provider at the beginning of a grant period.
