Companies can prevent sexual violence by implementing comprehensive policies, programs, and procedures. Human resources and company leadership have a responsibility for creating and maintaining effective prevention practices as well as fostering a safe environment, culture, and community. Unions and worker groups also play a critical role by holding their school accountable, hosting trainings, and providing education. Executives, managers, and other employees can take action by challenging rape culture and being active bystanders. By engaging all stakeholders, we can prevent workplace sexual violence.
