For Immediate Release – December 16, 2024
The Sexual Violence Prevention Association (SVPA) and Select Justice are pleased to announce a new year-long partnership aimed at advancing awareness and advocacy in the fight against sexual violence. Through a series of collaborative initiatives, the SVPA and Select Justice will work together to educate the public, connect survivors to resources, and spread awareness. This strategic partnership underscores both organizations’ commitment to tackling systemic issues that perpetuate sexual violence.
The SVPA is a national nonprofit dedicated to preventing sexual violence systemically. By advocating for legislation, conducting groundbreaking research, educating the public, and engaging institutions such as colleges, companies, and K-12 schools, the SVPA drives systemic change and breaks the self-perpetuating cycle of sexual violence.
Select Justice is a leading advocate for victims of corporate and institutional wrongdoing. They bring attention to cases of sexual abuse and misconduct within powerful institutions, including rideshare companies like Uber, and religious organizations such as the Mormon Church, Southern Baptist Convention, and Catholic Church. Through advocacy and support for survivors pursuing legal action, Select Justice highlights systemic issues that allow abuse to go unaddressed. This work aligns closely with the SVPA’s mission to prevent sexual violence and drive accountability, fostering safer and more transparent environments across sectors.
The SVPA and Select Justice share a mission to support survivors, prevent sexual abuse, and promote systemic changes across industries and institutions. Together, this partnership brings expertise and resources that are vital to transforming public understanding and encouraging proactive measures to combat sexual violence.
